I'm the coach and creator of TBG, Josh Martin. We do things a little differently here, and I'll explain why.
I started training at 12 years old, when Muay Thai was not a popular sport like it is now. Knowledge was limited in Cyprus, and as a result so was my growth. I was part of a large gym with many students, and I was lucky if I got 5 minutes of the coach's time each lesson. Essentially what happened was the students taught each other, and so the quality of information was diluted as it was passed down from teacher, to student, to student, and so on.
I found myself some years into my training journey and with not much to show for it.
I knew when I started coaching, I needed a better system.
The Big Gym is big in knowledge, passion, and aspiration. However, it's very small in square meterage. The groups are limited to 6 people per hour, ensuring each student gets significant access to pure coaching information from the source. Details are what make up the techniques we see fighters use, so details are what we need to be learning to improve. That's why we do it how we do it. We don't do open formate training, we do reserved-space semi privates.
The team is a tightly knit group of like-minded individuals all hungry for knowledge and a good, hard training session. At TBG you get both, every time you step through the door.
Try it out!
